Words nothing
Intelligence nothing
Waiting kills
Assertion destroys
Strength nothing
Actions nothing
Truth is lifeless
While lies burn
I tired of emptiness
I’m tired of waiting
I’m tired of hunger
I’m tired of reaching
I’m tired of fighting
Yet giving in yields nothing
All there is, is nothing
All there ever has been is nothing
Nothing but disappointment
Nothing but tolerance
Nothing but a polite smile that gives nothing
Who I am is not here
Who I’m not is false
I scream silently
No one hears me
How does one break who they are
If there is nothing to break
How does one embrace who they are
If there is nothing to embrace
If love is everything
Then where is the love?
